Grant Green, Al Green, John Patton, Dr. Lonnie Smith, Otis Redding, Jimmy McGriff, Charles Earland, G Love and Special Sauce, Melvin Sparks, Boogaloo Joe Jones, Johnny Guitar Watson, Gil Scott-Heron and Brian Jackson, Richard "Groove" Holmes, Idirs Muhamed, Buddy Guy, George Benson, Leon Spencer Jr., Jimmy Ponder, Ben Dixon......
"A kickass cover of the Boogaloo Joe Jones cut "Brown Bag" -- one done with guitar that's every bit as quick and tight as the original! We've always dug Fast 3's classic Hammond grooves, but this cut really has us respecting the group at a whole new level -- appreciating them not just as a funky combo, but one with some jazz-level chops as well! "Pig Feet N Greens" is an original from the group -- and it's done with the same Prestige Records jazz funk style as the a-side -- a really monster instrumental, and one that's recorded with a really classic production style too!

"3's Company - A Tribute to Grant Green"
Doodlin' Records (USA) - 2008
"These guys are the real deal, and "3's Company" is a soulful tribute to a musician who is too often overlooked." - Larry Goldings
"Fast3 is a new group on the scene that is reminiscent of the way it was – and should be – with feeling and swinging grooves." - Dr. Lonnie Smith
"Maaaaan, I heard you last night on that GRANTSTAND and you were KILLIN'. You took me right back to the base. I haven't heard that much of that flavor since the MASTER was here." - Ben Dixon
"You cats tripped me out back to the sixties. You sound like all my buddies who are pushing tulips. You'all are some bad cats.. Keep up the good work!" - George Braith
"The Fast 3 take on the classic trio format of Grant Green's early Blue Note recordings -- a mighty challenge, but the group is more than up to the task! The lineup of guitar, Hammond, and drums really sounds great here -- as clear and clean as on Grant's best early 60s trio sides, and played with a similar sensitivity to single-line soloing -- thanks to some really mighty talents from guitarist Dave Wilkinson! The album's a really welcome one -- especially given that so many soul jazz combos these days can muster a great organist, but often don't have jazz chops like this in the guitar department -- and the memory of Green is more than respected with the great sound of the set." - Dusty Groove America
The Grifter - One Note Records 2006
(The funkier side of Fast3)
ENGLISH:
Hammond organ trio headed by the unstopable Wilkinson brothers.. Fast3 play a mix of swinging organ soul-jazz ala Grant Green and hard grooving originals. Their debut cd "The Grifter" came out in 2006 with One Note records and they have recently recorded a swinging tribute to Grant Green "3's Company - A tribute to Grant Green" released 2008 on Doodlin' Records (USA). Fast3 took the Soul Cooker Festival (France) by storm in 2007 and 2008, many people agreeing they were easily the most exciting act that year. No other hammond trio does it as authenicaly as Fast3, just ask George Braith (60's Blue Note recording legend) or Brian Jackson (Gil Scott-Heron, Kool and the Gang).. or even swing master Ray Gelato... all have called upon Fast3's services in the past... a sure sign of exellence!
