InfluencesFROM DR. BARRY JEAN ANCELET-------"They have carefully considered their history as well as their own times. They have learned from the old masters as well as the young innovators. They own mastery of the tools of Cajun music is breathtaking. They have been touring and performing already for some years now and some people who initially may have had the notion that they’ve been invited because they’re cute kids have found out quickly that they are excellent, exciting musicians who just happen to be younger than most. As young, in fact, as most would like to be. The fact that our culture can still produce these kids is a sure sign of its vitality."
Sounds LikeFROM DIRK POWELL-------"Some would say that their music is beyond their years, but the band's message disproves the notion that musical expression has anything to do with the number of years one has been on the planet. Rather than proving that they are somehow an exception to any rule, they seem to raise the bar for all musicians, young or old, in whatever genre."

   About Feufollet
FROM NICK SPITZER OF AMERICAN ROUTES-----"Beyond their growing musical virtuosity, what sets Feufollet apart from other young bands is this ability to speak—and especially sing—in Cajun French. Their mastery of the language along with the music has enabled them not only to understand songs from oral tradition, but has opened up the creative possibility of writing new material—all with a beguiling mix of authoritative voice and youthful passion, seriousness of purpose and artistic risk-taking."   I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

you are sadly NOT coming to a town near me -- except for CT, and that is certainly not near, as we previously established (though it's the closest). i have been to the grounds once before for one of the many festivals and had a blast, but it is just not feasible at this point. too bad.

perhaps down the road i will have the pleasure of your music live.
