Formed in 1999 in Windsor, Ontario with Gary McLean on lead vocals/ bass, Jay Pickering on guitar/backing vocals, & Tim Reaume on drums.
Flint's music is a combination of head banging R'n'R mixed with contemporary noise and laced with melodic overtones. With the passing of Tim Reaume in 2000, Flint had various projects with various drummers between 2001 and 2007.
Flint's debut full length album "Smoke and Mirrors" was released in October 2004 on the Phoenix 5 label with drummer Marc Dalzell after various ep's and singles with various drummers. The disc broke nationwide, with their single "AHH" receiving Canadian radio play and limited U.S. play. While the supporting music video for "AHH" rotated heavily on MUCH LOUD.
As a band, Flint put forth their own brand of sound with an uncompromising message, delivered with passion and conviction - 21st century rock with style and strength. Now, carrying on that legacy, true to their musical roots and convictions with an ever revolving door of talented musicians...the music of Flint continues...stay tuned...
