It's all about the little things:) I'm so used to seeing them... but it's really quite comical that we would need a sign to tell us to cross the street at all, haha. You might really enjoy the crossing lights in Japan... When we lived there a couple of years ago we found it very interesting that an electronic melody accompanied the lights as you walked across the street, haha. I remember a friend who was to be moving back Stateside & had lived in Japan for 9 years saying... as she was becoming nostalgic, "I'm really going to miss that music. Now I will actually have to pay attention when I cross the street."
