SLY music is a unique blend of hard rock, captivating melodies, and wailing guitar solos offering an enchanting, new, and powerful sound. Formed in June 2006, SLY is a music collaboration of Singer/Songwriter Stephanie Yanez and Instrumentalist/Songwriter Full Metal Ninja.

Discovering music at the age of 5, Stephanie Yanez was born to sing. Her love for music eventually led her to record four songs on Geneon’s Anime Karaoke Collection with three of those songs recorded with I’VE, a Japan-based record label. This CD also includes the winning song that she performed at Anime Expo’s AX Idol 2004 “Ningyo Hime” from the top anime series Chobits! Yanez’s powerful and unique voice demands attention at live performances. Her accessible pop melodies are well balanced with edgy, alternative flavors and vocal distortions. Lyrically, she connects with audiences with clear, heartfelt
messages that are well blended with metaphoric environments that paint intricate pictures of the joys and pains of life.

[FULL METAL NINJA]
As a veteran musician who has played music for over 16 years both on and offstage, Full Metal Ninja manages, produces, and writes much of the music for his many projects, collaborations, and bands including SLY and Random Ninjas. Musically, he pushes for an accessible hybrid East-West heavy rock/metal sound which appeals to a wide and diverse audience. To the keen and discerning ear of a musician, this rare sound is an intricate blend of traditional aural elements from all over Asia with modern western music. For the music audience, Full Metal Ninja’s music is a refreshing break from the genre-bound garden variety found on both the U.S. and international musical landscapes.
