  • Bio

Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse was conceived one cold night in 2006, when founding members Philo, Johnny and Darrius where at the local bar discussing the failings of modern music. The argument became heated, and was only halted by an interjection from the angry bartender....."Why don't you assholes start a band if you know so goddamn much about music?!?"....And with that, the seeds of music history were sown and the world would never be the same. Within a month, the band had already produced it's first demo effort, a 6 track collection recorded and produced in Johnny's livingroom in one weekend. .."Class up the Ass".. featured stripped-down versions of the FBS classics .."Fuck the Race", "Scat Party!", "I Suck in Bed", and "Scabby Knees"... It also featured 2 tracks (.."The Good Book" and "Mr. Joel's Opus in D Minor"..) which have now been relegated to the status of ultra-rare, as the master tapes mysteriously disappeared...After a few months of touring and no offers from major record labels, the boys made the difficult decision to produce their debut album themselves by forming their own record label ..FBS Records... After selling one of Johnny's kidneys after a drunken night of convincing, Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse had all the money they needed to properly record their seminal first album .."Velvet Glove / Iron Fist".....The album was recorded over a 6 week period in January/February 2007. It contains revamped versions of the .."Class up the Ass".. hits, as well as 8 new tracks including .."Regina", "Someone stole my Beer", "Me and the Two of You", "Kids can Rock and Roll", "Bitter Soup",.. and an interesting cover of the ..Ween.. classic .."Piss up a Rope"... No song has ever been played on the radio...Not even once...Seriously...Dodging censors right and left, Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse now play a few shows a month around the Ottawa area, and are occasionally given permission to leave the province for the occasional show. The band is currently writing material for their upcoming sophmore effort, tentitivly titled ..You'll Like Us When We're Popular.., schedualed for a Christmas 2007 release...In the meantime, watch history in the making,......Catch an FBS show near you!.. ........Get your layout at ..Spaceboos.. ..

Bio:

Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse was conceived one cold night in 2006, when founding members Philo, Johnny and Darrius where at the local bar discussing the failings of modern music. The argument became heated, and was only halted by an interjection from the angry bartender.

"Why don't you assholes start a band if you know so goddamn much about music?!?"

And with that, the seeds of music history were sown and the world would never be the same. Within a month, the band had already produced it's first demo effort, a 6 track collection recorded and produced in Johnny's livingroom in one weekend. "Class up the Ass" featured stripped-down versions of the FBS classics "Fuck the Race", "Scat Party!", "I Suck in Bed", and "Scabby Knees". It also featured 2 tracks ("The Good Book" and "Mr. Joel's Opus in D Minor") which have now been relegated to the status of ultra-rare, as the master tapes mysteriously disappeared.

After a few months of touring and no offers from major record labels, the boys made the difficult decision to produce their debut album themselves by forming their own record label FBS Records. After selling one of Johnny's kidneys after a drunken night of convincing, Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse had all the money they needed to properly record their seminal first album "Velvet Glove / Iron Fist".

The album was recorded over a 6 week period in January/February 2007. It contains revamped versions of the "Class up the Ass" hits, as well as 8 new tracks including "Regina", "Someone stole my Beer", "Me and the Two of You", "Kids can Rock and Roll", "Bitter Soup", and an interesting cover of the Ween classic "Piss up a Rope". No song has ever been played on the radio.

Not even once.

Seriously.

Dodging censors right and left, Fuzzy Bunny Slaughterhouse now play a few shows a month around the Ottawa area, and are occasionally given permission to leave the province for the occasional show. The band is currently writing material for their upcoming sophmore effort, tentitivly titled You'll Like Us When We're Popular, schedualed for a Christmas 2007 release.

In the meantime, watch history in the making,

Catch an FBS show near you!
