I've been taking concert photos since 1971 when I first shot Frank Zappa & The Mothers at SUNY Stony Brook. I've photographed Pink Floyd, Genesis, Einsturzende Neubauten, Big Black, Husker Du, Johnny Thunders, Yes, David Crosby, Rahsaan Roland Kirk, Santana, Devo, Agnostic Front, Sonic Youth, Butthole Surfers, Slayer, and many, many more. Over the years my photos have been used on records, T-Shirts, posters and buttons as well as in national magazines and fanzines. I've always been involved in some facet of the music industry and had been a Stage Manager for a few years working with many international level acts including Peter Gabriel, Hot Tuna, Bob Seger, Charlie Daniels and Boston. I understand proper etiquette in a musical environ especially in the concert setting. I never obstruct a fan's view and I won't use a flash unless lighting conditions are poor. I can furnish bands the finished product in any format they want. Please note that I don't do this for the money (read: not my day job) I do it because my two greatest passions are music and photography.
