Goodbye Nautilus….creeping up from the murky depths of the San Francisco Bay…
Goodbye Nautilus Live @ Retox Lounge
GBN at Retox (1 Yr Later) - Pot & Pans
GOODBYE NAUTILUS:
GBN has been evolving continuously since 2007. What was once a 2 piece jam project between the guitarist and the bassist has developed strong 5-piece band that delivers strong songwriting and unpredictable live shows.
GBN creates driving and sometime dance inducing music that can best be described as Garage Pop Rock. 2008 saw the release of the 1st EP "ROAR". It is now sold out, but the song "Damn Japan" still remains on the Myspace player. The Goodbye Nautilus S/T EP, commonly known as "Recycled" saw release in Sept 2009.
We recently tore through a Full Length studio album that was mixed by Ian Pellucci (Deerhoof, Rogue Wave, Bay Bridged v2) at Tiny Telephone and is set to be released in early 2010! Some of the unmastered songs have been posted...we're still holding out on the best ones until things are closer to release.
GBN will be returning to Tiny Telephone in December to record new tracks thanks thanks to a recording grant from SF music blog The Bay Bridged!
What good is being in a band if you can't share your music? We regularly play around the bay area and occasionally trek up and down the coast so if you are around come out.
Stay tuned. Stick around.
