Fusing traditional celtic melodies with modern trance electronica, The Good Neighbors create dance music that spans the centuries. Fronted by josh (of the synthpop band Narse, the ambient/noise band Pancreatic Aardvarks, traditional folk band Gallows Tree and keyboard/guitar/bass player with Chuck Owston's Bonfire Night)
The Good Neighbors' first self-release is titled "Gin guid neibour ye ca' me, then guid neibour I will be". Featuring 8 tunes and 64 minutes long, the cd was recorded live at Asocial Studios December 2006. If you are interested in getting a copy, please send us a message on myspace, or e-mail us at tgn@gnarphlager.com This is a very limited release, so act quickly if you want a copy! The title comes from a scots poem detailing the mercurial nature of faerie folk...or perhaps the euphamistic desire to protect themselves from malicious intent...
