Fusing traditional celtic melodies with modern electronica, The Good Neighbors create dance music that spans the centuries. Fronted by josh (of the synthpop band Narse, the ambient/noise band Pancreatic Aardvarks, and traditional folk band Gallows Tree), The Good Neighbors celebrate a love of diversity, tradition and evolution in music.
The Good Neighbors were formed in December of 2006 (to provide music for a Molly Dance performance at Chuck Owston's 12th Night Celebration). Shortly thereafter, the first cd was released, titled "Gin Guid Neibour Ye Ca' Me, Then Guid Neibour I Will Be".
Since then, The Good Neighbors have performed a few live PA sets, including some vocal traditional Celtic songs (featuring classically trained singer Virginia of Narse on vocals). New recordings and tunes should be coming soon, so keep watching here for updates!
