My artist name is Satyr, i was born 1977 and i live in close proximity
to Zurich, Switzerland. My musical preferences are Neofolk, Darkfolk, Industrial,
Darkwave, EBM and also Goa/Psytrance .
I began approx. seven years ago with photographing.
This resulted from a small idea as i began to have interest for photography
and webdesign.
So much that I decided to create an own homepage about photography. In the same
time i began to make photos for myself.
Thus in May '02 Gothicmodels.ch was registred. In this time i created the term
"Gothicmodel". Later the website became gothicmodels.net,
an internet platform for my photo art and for Gothic Models, photographers and
interested ones from the whole world.
The homepage gothicmodels.net is meanwhile well-known over the continent borders.
Now it has up to 3000 visitors daily from all over the world..
I shoot my photos in the studio and on the way at various delightful
locations. I prefer burned out factory ruins, cemeteries, forests, castles and
other interesting places.
I let environment and motive flow gladly into one another. Each Model is unique
and has its own advantages and characteristics which has also influence into
the concept. Romantically and dreamed, naughty and sexy, sweetly and innocent.
My pictures are often provocative, morbid and dark. I like trashy pictures more
than the classical glamour
Other influence is coming from the art of Luis Royo and HR Giger.
