Jaygo and Soulja C are the dirty south’s last hope. Some say they are faster than Twista. Some say it’s only a matter of time before they emerge into mainstream music and be successful in the rap industry. They’ve been advancing their skills in rap since they started at the age of 10 and 11. They’re now balancing their advancing rap careers and managing to stay enrolled in school and college. Jaygo and Soulja C are 1st cousins, which prevents any rifts from forming between the two. They take their music seriously and do their performances and recordings professionally. They’ve also collaborated with artists of diverse styles world wide. The two young men have traveled to many different areas doing shows and showcasing their talent. Their love of music, gives them the drive to perform with the same amazing energy in a crowded stadium or just for a single individual.
Cortez “Soulja C” Thomas has an incredible mind and works well with creative thinking. Since he has this ability he comes up with most of the artwork concepts used by the duo. At the age of 20 he has wrote close to 200 songs and is dedicated about his music career. He is influenced by and looks up to Lil’ Wayne, Twista, Bone, and Tupac Shakur. One of his main points of rapping is to provide and stop this struggling his mother and father are going through. He’s the ladies man of the group and is very charismatic during performances.
Jeremy “Jaygo” Nash is the planner of the duo, who sets up most business transactions. His advertising skills have created twice or three times as many online fans as most artists in the area. He sees every obstacle shown to him as a challenge and only works harder when presented with difficulties. He started rapping because as a hobby, he kept rapping as a passion, and he’s rapping now as a obligation. That obligation is to his big brother, a southern rapper who passed away in 2005. Jaygo now feels that he has to make it for both of them and this gives him the push he needs to do what he does.
