    .. .. ..MyGen.. ..Profile------------ Luke Smithson. Luke first picked up a guitar after seeing the Rolling Stones at Don Valley Stadium and deciding that this was the instrument for him. Influenced in his early years by Keith Richards and Chuck Berry, Luke soon progressed to playing and enjoying an eclectic range of musical styles. From his early teens, Luke has been in several Blues and Rock bands playing at numerous international venues. Luke was lucky enough to meet Peter Green at a gig in the Irish Centre, Leeds at the impressionable age of 12. Luke joined Greenmac in 2010 and did not hesitate in joining Peter in this new venture with The Early Mac Band. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Joel Dowson. Now in his early 30's, Joel started learning the guitar at the age of 10. Surrounded by a music loving family, he grew up listening to his idols of Clapton, Led Zeppelin, BB King, Peter Green and Gary Moore. Joel and Luke are cousins and have played in several bands together since their teenage years. Joel also toured extensively during the 90's with his acclaimed band Infrasound and is now looking forward to going back on the road to tour with The Early Mac Band. Joel provides backing vocals and harmonies as well as playing lead guitar on several numbers. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ol Jessop. Ol (aka Olly) decided life began at 40 with the challenge of playing bass in The Early Mac Band. He first picked up a bass at the age of 14 influenced by Jack Bruce, Andy Fraser and Les Claypool. He joined a local band in his home city of Leeds a year later and started his professional music career from there. Ol has played in various rock and blues bands ever since. He is now ready for the new challenge of re-creating the rock and blues classics of his former heroes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Peter Tallent On drums is one of the founder members of Greenmac and now of it's reincarnation - The Early Mac Band. Peter's varied musical career has seen him playing in a variety of blues and rock bands over the years and has helped run various jam nights at local venues in the Yorkshire area. Peter says, 'This new venture of course still includes Peter Green's original Fleetwood Mac blues rock classics that they became really famous for as well as incorporating other musical genius artists of this era.
