Beginning his journey in 1999, Adam Cuvilier came upon Edmonton's electronic music scene when he moved there from Nova Scotia. Buying his first set of tables in 2003, Cuvy desired to become further involved and began throwing his own shows and playing clubs and events. Also he had a radio show called Smooth Radio at CJSR 88.5FM which he held down for over 5 years. Cuvy has now moved over to House Underground FM also on 88.5FM co-hosting with Marzetti. He has since played all over Canada not to mention his five gig tour of Thailand in June of 2007. Groovy Cuvy has also signed on with Money Shot Recordings out of Toronto and Sovereign House Records from Edmonton with several remixes and original tracks being released in 2008 and 2009. Groovy Cuvy's sound fuses minimal, progressive and electro house influences and his dj sets are full of the same. His DJ sets also have been taken to the next Level mixing video and audio to experience the ultimate party vibe. Not being satisfied with any particular position in this scene has driven Cuvy to seek out further opportunity and he is now is able to add club owner to his resume. Taking over Level 2 Lounge on New Years of 2008, Cuvilier now has his own venue to illustrate his passion for the electronic scene and share it with others. We are just waiting to see what Groovy Cuvy has in store for us next.
