Our work is afar from mass consumption. The financial limitation is also very clear. It even would be very naïve to believe to become wealthy by doing this job. That’s why HALBSICHT stands for the love of music and special design. These two melt together to one whole plan; sound and picture are inseparable for our attention to details.
We also know, that we are not able to prevent illegally music downloads but maybe we can counter this ‘digitally thieving’ by our work and encourage consumers to buy our records.

Wir drei Organisatoren von HALBSICHT sind selbst seit vielen Jahren in den verschiedensten Bereichen elektronischer Musik tätig und hatten somit jede Menge Gelegenheit, Erfahrungen zu sammeln, die uns in dem Entschluss, HALBSICHT ins Leben zu rufen, bestärkten. Wir wollen nun auch anderen Künstlern und neuen Talenten die Möglichkeit bieten, ihre Kunst einem aufgeschlossenen Publikum zu präsentieren.
Unser Ziel ist nicht die Produktion und Verteilung eines Massenmediums, sondern wir richten unser Augenmerk lieber auf eine überschaubare (limitierte) Stückzahl in bester Qualität.
Uns ist bewusst, dass man in der heutigen Zeit und mit dieser, fernab vom Massenkonsum liegenden Kunstform an finanzielle Grenzen stoßen wird. Es wäre naiv zu glauben oder zu versprechen, mit dieser Art von Kunst zu Wohlstand zu gelangen. Deshalb geht es uns nicht um Profit, sondern HALBSICHT steht für die Liebe zur Musik und zum besonderen Design. Diese zwei Sparten verschmelzen in unseren Produkten zu einem Gesamtkonzept. Ton und Bild liegen für uns untrennbar und detailverliebt beieinander.
Wir wissen auch, dass wir das illegale downloaden von Musik nicht unterbinden können, aber vielleicht steuern wir mit unserer Form eines Tonträgerformats dem digitalen Datendiebstahl entgegen und können dem Konsument einen Anreiz geben, den Kauf eines unserer Musikdatenträger einem illegalen Download vorzuziehen.
