The mining band Hammurabi, originary of the city of Contagem, was born after the dissolution of the Gestalt band, with the exit of the bassplayer Johnny, in the end of 2004. The integrant remainders had been in search of a new bassplayer, but getting success they had not decided to give continuity to the project, now while power-trio. In such a way, until then guitarist and vocals Daniel Lucas it assumed the low one of the serious ones.
Already in 2005 middle, two the musics, "Submersos" and "USA Terrorista" had been recorded, that they had entered for the promocional compilation of one single, intitled "Submersos". After a readjustment process (musics, arrangements, set), the band exactly retook the works in middle of 2006 for the spreading of this work. The band if presented in neighboring cities (Betim, Contagem), in the mining capital (Belo Horizonte) and still in the interior of São Paulo, during this exactly year.
Since then, the Hammurabi comes conquering each time plus its space in the mining and national scene. In the last months it got good critical of the media specialized, since webzines the magazines, also in the Roadie Crew and Rock Hard Valhalla magazines. During the year of 2007, the band still if presented in Belo Horizonte (MG), Ribeirão das Neves (MG), São João Del Rei (MG), Sete Lagoas (MG), Ribeirão Preto (SP), Piracicaba (SP), Contagem (MG), Atibaia (SP) and Belo Horizonte (MG) until middle of August, touching to the side of famous bands as Krisiun, Andralls, Drowned, Unearthly, Funeratus, and also to the side of the Ecuadorian Total Death.
In this exactly month, until then guitarplayer the Wagner Oliveira exit of band for personal reasons. Immediately the new search for an integrant one was provided, where it was found more interesting to rescue some elements that the proper band loaded while Gestalt with two guitars, thus consolidating the current formation with two guitarplayers, Danilo Henrique and Josias Martins.
With this line-up, the Hammurabi devised this new job. Shelter of Blames, marks not only the maturity of these kids who grew up in the land of the grave, with the same dream of becoming a big band, too, ascension in recognition of the Brazilian public to these warriors of metal!
