About me: MS here. On behalf of CK and the rest of the Harper Perennial team, I graciously welcome you to our MySpace page. We are currently at work turning this site into a viable and entertaining literary destination. You may have been sufficiently impressed with our blog, the Olive Reader, but, as is our wont, we aim to do more.

Harper Perennial is one of the paperback publishing arms of HarperCollins, Inc. Which is a global company - so that means Harper Perennial exists...around the globe. So that's cool. Anyway - we set up this MySpace page because we like authors and we like readers. And we're hoping that in our small way, we can put the two together.
by the way, check out my debut biography, "The Perfect Pitch," a wonderful and highly original true life story about the struggles of 3 brothers and 6 sisters living in foster homes and in extreme poverty with a loving but desperate father and a mother away getting treatment for mental breakdown. it also chronicles two family miracles that are simply amazing and inspiring, and it details the rags to riches success story of the Famed Peanut Man of Dodger Stadium, Roger Owens.

I am on the lookout for a writer to write a short detective/crime story, I would like to illustrate the story with a front cover and very minimal illustrations for the start of each chapter.
