Hailing from South Africa, Hayden Hack found a love for Australia at a very early age. Over the years his love for this sunburnt country grew and Hayden realised then, that he would be back.
Travelling the world playing his own brand of music, Hayden found himself busking in the UK and gigging for 5 years before realising Australia was calling and so, heading to Australia to set up in Melbourne. After 3 years in Melbourne, Hayden moved to the Sunshine Coast for much warmer weather to help evolve his unique sound and to add members to his musical vision.
Enter Mitch Ruggles and Dean Owen. Both musicians have been honing their craft for several years as members of assorted Brisbane and Sunshine Coast bands. In this time, both Mitch and DeanO (his affectionate name) have been touring the country playing major festivals, while also supporting both international and national acts. Having both taken some time off to live life, travel and start families(for DeanO anyway) both had a craving to head back and do the one thing they loved. Play music.
Enter the Band. As soon as the lads came together for a jam, it felt like they had been jamming spiritually for the last 10 years together. Everything clicked and they all realised this was going to be a fun journey of music experience.
Now over the last few months the band has enhanced Hayden Hack initial musical vision towards creating a beautiful musical atmosphere. If you enjoy all shapes and colours of music - Jazz, Blues, Funk, Rock and Reggae, then you are sure not to be disappointed.
