Hello Demons..meet skeletons was a phrase used to described what happened to a life when all the demons in someone's life came head to head with the skeletons one can accumulate in life. This project was created to unload the demons and skeletons in my life. A way to lyrically touch on subjects that needed to be touched on in order to move forward with my life and leave the past behind without completely forgetting it. I wanted to play everything myself and sing everything myself because it's a very personal project. I had time off between tours with Sevendust and thought I would take that time to get this out of my system.
I Also thought it would be a good chance to raise money for Make a Wish foundation. The EP Chills has 6 songs that were recorded in 10 days. My brother Corey Lowery produced, engineered and mixed it for me. As for what happens after it's release, anythings possible. I want to reserve this as an outlet to use to explore different avenues musically. So there will be more down the road. This first installment is acoustic songs that goes with the time period I'm in right now. I don't want the musical direction for HDMS to be limited so the next body of work could be completely different in style. For the people who support this I thank you and a very big TO BE CONTINUED!!!
