hipbootjoe has brought their unique brand of southern fried country/rock to the masses since their formation in April 2001. They have shared the stage for national acts such as Clink Black, Lone Star, Tracy Byrd, Chris Cagle, Tracy Lawrence, Craig Morgan, Jack Ingram, Aaron Neville, The Little River Band, Doug Stone, The Oak Ridge Boys, The Los Lonely Boys, Marc Broussard, Cowboy Mouth, Gatemouth Brown, Delbert McClinton, Sonny Landreth, The Dirty Dozen Band, and Lee Williams among others!
hipbootjoe released their 2nd all original CD in the spring of 2007. This CD was written by the band and successful published writers such as Scott Innis and John Mallory. It is produced by multiple Grammy winner Tony Daigle and features not only the band's talents, but the world class talents of super southern guest musicians such as Grammy nominated Sonny Landreth, Hunter Hayes, Kevin Civello and Tereva Henderson. If you like the combination of pop, country, rock n roll and some ol' fashioned down home, good feelin' Louisiana music, then you are sure to love this one as it encompasses all. The previous all original self titled album has sold thousands of copies since it's release in 2004. It recieved radio play and press in the southern region and was the catalyst that helped them soar to the top of their class as musicians and performers from the south.
The group also released a gospel album on Blackberry Records which features their song "Get Saved", recorded with the Grammy nominated Williams Brothers. "Get Saved" garnered national airplay on radio and television, including BET and was nominated for both the GMA's Contemporary Gospel Song of the Year and Contemporary Gospel Album of the Year in 2005. The band was included on 3 live CD and DVD performances filmed at the Earthlink Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia. The CD's and DVD's entitled "SoulLink Live", "SoulLink Live 2" and "SoulLink Live 3" feature the band along with some of the most legendary gospel artists in the business. hipbootjoe was also included on a gospel compilation called Good Time Gospel and also as special guests on The Christianaires' CD. Both products were released nationally.
hipbootjoe has performed in many large venues and is currently the premier act in the gulf coast's hottest clubs including: Road House Live at the Hard Rock Casino/Resort (Biloxi, MS), The Coast at the Beau Rivage Casino/Resort (Biloxi, MS), Rox's Night Club in Shorty's Casino (Baldwin, LA), Spinnaker's Beach Club (Panama City, FL), AJ's (Destin, FL), House of Blues (New Orleans, LA) and Club Utopia on Bourbon Street (New Orleans, LA). hipbootjoe continues to gain a large fan base of all ages and areas of the U.S. as they pour an intensity into their delivery that is hard to match. A live performance is a "must see" and has made the band very popular with live venues throughout the country!
