Haha, ya, I didn't really know what to say/do since I'm not actually part of the show.
Since I live in small town Manitoba, I probably won't be to one anytime soon, but the next time I'm out and there's a show I'll definitely be there (probably with Michelle and Erin).
Great review of the EP in this issue of Eye Magazine 'Hooded Fang are one of those sprawling amiable jangle-pop outfits brimming over with positive energy and yourthful vigour'
Awesome finally catching you guys on Thursday, I've had Land of Giants in my head for the past two days. I hope the rain didn't overly deter the Dufferin Grove festivities today.
Hooded Fang makes you want to sing-along and rejoice. That was a great set at Rancho Relaxo, dance-inducing, sweet harmonies, an indie-pop shindig with flair, a buoyant percussion-shaking sound that's so charming to experience, you just can't help but smile. A pulse on what the TO landscape currently evokes.
WHHHHHAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTSSSSSSSSSS UUUUUUUUPPPPPPPPPP MY PEEEEEEEEEEEEEPPPPPPPPLLLLLLLLLEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! I love your jams. Great music guys. Dank.. Train Station is my fav man.. I listened through your entire player. Peace!! Now I feel bad I didn't peep the liveshow:(
Drop one in the comment box so we know you're out there!!!
That was a great set at Rancho Relaxo. Perfectly crafted indie pop-songs, catchy inspiring gems, glossed with elements of Belle & Sebastian-esque male-female vocals, psych-folk, and a romping rhythm-country feel. Uniquely Torontopian, a well-rounded uber-melodic sound, bursting with splashes of colour and good cheer, that guarantees fun times. Great band.
you guys are a blast! unfortunately, i couldn't stay for your whole set, but what i did catch was really wonderful. i hope we can share a stage again soon!
Hey guys, thanks for playing with us last night, we had a complete blast! really enjoyed your music, as I think the whole crowd did. and we raised almost $800 for warchild which is awesome! Stefan
That was a great set at The Silver Dollar. A rich collage of experimental-folk, precise shuffling rhythms, and gorgeous vocals. A collective of musicians, each adding just the right ingredient to create a cohesive, fun, tight and eclectically adventurous sound.
