   About Ian & Sarah MORRIS
Ian and Sarah Morris experimented with many different musical styles and influences until finding their own meld of folk, acoustic, and world music. The eclelctic songs are formed by instruments from around the world like the yue-qin (or moon lute), violin, cello, piano, and guitar and occasionally spiced by vocals here and there. Ian and Sarah use their gifts to inspire those in their community as they perform regularly at benefits for non-profit organizations, play for the mentally and physically challenged, host music camps for all ages, and share music and art with at-risk youth. Ian and Sarah dabble in all forms of artistic expression. Both are visual artists and have sold over 500 prints and orginals combined. The artwork for their most recent CD "I Think Its About You" was designed by Sarah. Ian is also a poet and is currently compiling a book of his poems and mixed media paintings. In 2006, they founded a non-profit organization in their hometown of Greenwood, South Carolina called Homemade Genius. Under this umbrella, they host art and music festivals throughout the community, perform and demonstrate at public and private schools, teach music lessons, and teach music and art camps. They are especially dedicated to presenting their unique instruments and music to children. Ian and Sarah also write songs and perform with their indie/folk/pop band Y/our Sparkle Heart, also based in Greenwood, with their friends Caleb and Jonathan.

Hey you two! Thanks again for everything. We love ya'll! Our kids are already asking how often we can come back! They LOVED it! Both of you will have to jump on the STOMP set for the next show. There's actually a part that we could use you during the first set of the performance! I'll be in touch and I look forward to hangin' with you again in a few weeks! Blessings, Kimmie/Stomp4Jesus

Hello Ian and Sarah
I want to go to the forest in your profile picture to record our debut album, but it's simply not cost effective unfortunately seeing as we live so many miles away. It must be such an inspiring place to make music!

LOVE you guys! You are doing such wonderful things for this community--thank you! I will support you as much as I can and in every way that I can.

Dewey and I are going to try to switch our Wed obligation to Tues, so that we can be at Frankglen's on Wed!!!!!!!!!

Ian, this is the book I was telling you about...you and Sarah must have something to contribute...read on for details.

I am currently working on a book called THE KINDNESS OF STRANGERS: Stories of kindness that changed people's lives. The book is a compilation of stories from people of all kinds--professionals, musicians, teachers, janitors, grocery store checkout clerks, housewives, friends, strangers, nurses, students, men, women, gay, straight, cooks, business people, waiters, gardeners, ...anyone with a story of how the kindness of a stranger made a difference in their life. EVERYONE IS WELCOME. I thank you for your time and consideration. You can go to the MySpace book site to read more or to submit your story www.myspace.com/kindnessconnection
