Identity Pusher was formed in May of 2006 after the break-up of two premier Denver heavy metal bands, Ainmatter and Gematria. What emerged from the two is one of Denver’s most sought-out death metal bands. After opening up for nationally touring bands that include Cephalic Carnage, Emmure, Diecast, Carnifex, Dub Trio, and Unmerciful, they are now headlining their own shows. Identity Pusher is no stranger to venues that include the Gothic Theatre, Marquis Theatre, Ogden Theatre, Bluebird Theatere, Cervantes Masterpiece Ballroom, Club Inferno, Oriental Theatre, and Larimer Lounge.
Identity Pusher is a five piece progressive death metal band that features Wes (from AinMatter) providing an outstanding range of lead vocals; solid yet blazing-fast drumming coming from Ryan (Gematria); extremely technical guitar riffs from Andy (Gematria) and Taylor (Beautiful Liar / ASA); and a super solid, progressive bass foundation from the new bro on the team...
