MySpace a place for friends

The band was made by Gunhead and Cipree in the year 2004. Before the Impact Pulse, Gunhead was electro/ebm DJ and Cipree was composer. The band was born from their first collective work. This was a remix for a Bohemian band, under the egis of Advoxya Records. The feedbacks was positives, and the boys was minded they will carry on the work together. Advoxya Records was made a bid for an album’s edition, it was a big impulse in the life of the guys too. Impact Pulse was made the best of, and with one year’s hard work in the studio they was finished the debut album „Pulseing Modules” . The reception of the CD was positive in Hungary and (it’s not overdrawn) int he whole world too. In proof of this thing, there was 2 IP songs( My World, Hate) on the remix-album of Dj Led Manville, the noted dj from Madrid. The song „Come” featured on the german Electro Webchart (top 15) -It was a big surprise to IP, becouse Germany is a country, where are traditionally very much electro/ebm bands. These bands was on this list(without completeness):Depeche Mode, And One, Camouflage, Mesh, Swamp Terrorists. No comment…After the cd’s coming out the band was made bigger emphasize into the live sound. IP was played in lots of Hungarian clubs, and the gigs was prosperous from week to week.

Present:

The second Impact Pulse album „Optimal Contrast” is out from 25th may, 2008. The band try to mix the classic and hard EBM sond and the soft, melodic synth-pop sound. Accordingly to find the optimal contrast between hard and soft, fast and slow.The band’s unconcealed will with this album is to fixing the IP’s place in the popular, in Hungary and other countries too. There is a guest on the cd, he is Der Feind, who works together with IP from the beginnings as lyricist. He appears in two tracks (New Delight-vocal,Impact Nation-backing vocal). Impact Pulse has a new lyricist too, he is Patak „pixi” Sándor, who’s responsible for the 50% of the Optimal Contrast album’s lyrics. From 2008 the Impact Pulse is a trio yet. The guitarrist Headfield, who helped IP’s live shows in the past, already is a full member. Maybe this change will bring a harder sound into the band’s voice.

Future:

There is a remix-album between the plans of this year, where should be IP covers from noted bands. Other targets? To make lots of qualitative albums- hopefully not to no effect!!!...
