Alejandro López was born in Gijón (Spain). His path in the electronic music world started in late 90's when he bought his first instruments insipired by the Detroit Techno and Chicago House movements. This was the point of no return for Alejando and made him even more passionate about electronic music, opening himself to new genres and carrying on with his musical hobbie while he worked as a sound technician.
His debut on wax, 'fi(R)st' EP on Donnacha Costello's Minimise, followed by "Polígono de Frecuencias" on Pariter got a very good critic by the specialized press and received support from well known dj's such as Joris Voorn, Slam, Magda, Ángel Molina, Mark Broom, Onur Ozer, Kiki, Xpansul, just to name a few.
From then on, his music has taken him to tour perform in some of Europe's most famous clubs such as Watergate (Berlin), Harry Klein (Munich), Arena (Berlin), 103Club (Berlin), Cicterna Hall (Moscow), Kindergarten (Bologna), Retox (London), The Egg (London), The Red (London). Of course, in his country, Spain, he has also been in the most prestigious venues such as The Loft (Barcelona), Moog (Barcelona), Deep (Madrid), BeCool (Barcelona), Fellini (Barcelona), as well as festivals such as L.E.V., Electrosplash, FAMA, Djscontralafam, Phonotica...
Together with his friend Jairo Catelo he forms extra[R]radio which has its debut on the London based label Multi Vitamins. In 2008 Slam invite him to be part of his label Soma Recordings, one of the most veteran labels of the European scene, on which he releases "Grande Coracion" EP under his new pseudonym Jandroide, more oriented to more funky and organic tech-house, and they include the main title track in their 'Sci-Fi Hi-Fi 5' mixed compilation. In 2009 the first Jandroide's album will be released on Soma, which represents his big debut on the Glasgow based label. Also he is working on what will be his debut album as Alejandro Lopez, oriented towards a more synthetic, dark and hypnotic techno sound.
In his live performances he brings together, in a dynamic way, the warmth of the classic techno sound with the syncopated and fractured rhythms of the new techno and house sound, combining emotional profoundness with powerful soundscapes, trying to give form to his eclectic personal vision of dance music.
