Hey space friends here's a little bio-history-I'm originally from Albuquerque, New Mexico, I've been very fortunate to have worked and continue to work and forge frienships with some of the greatest musicians around, including a number of reknown heavy rock and progressive rock bands. Early work included a stint in 1982 with Badfinger. I was invited to join the band by former Yes keyboardist Tony Kaye. In 1984, I played live in former Yes guitarist Peter Banks' band in a cool dive every Monday and Tuesday called The Central which is now know as the infamous Viper Room. In 1986, I joined Stone Fury, working with guitarist Bruce Gowdy and Lenny Wolf who later went on to form Kingdom Come. From 1986 to 1991, I was in a band called Hurricane with the amazing Kelly Hansen, great singer, great friend. We released 3 records, had several top 10 videos did a lot of domestic and worldwide touring and disbanded in 92. In 1992, I joined Bruce again in a new project, Unruly Child, with Mark Free, Larry Antonino and Guy Allison. We released a very well received-acclaimed record produced by Beau Hill, released by Interscope Records just before the fall of melodic rock and the world was swallowed by Seattle. In 1993-4, I joined a group featuring David Reece (Accept, Bangaloir Choir) on vocals, Greg Chiasson Badlands)on bass and Larry Farkas(Die Happy) on guitar called Sircle of Silence. We released 2-CD's with James "Jimbo" Barton producing and toured europe twice. As fate would have it in 1995, I was invited to play some tennis with a chap with a wicked lob named Billy Sherwood that Bruce had been raving about, turns out they were in need of a drummer and here I was again working with Bruce and Guy Allison, joining World Trade for their second album Euphoria, along side new found friend and partner Billy Sherwood (later in Yes). Billy and I kept the World Trade franchise going appearing as the only participating members of World Trade on two tribute albums released on the Magna Carta record label in 1996. In 1997 I joined Heaven and Earth with former Hurricane bandmate Kelly Hansen and Stuart Smith on guitar writing/performing some memorable music that can be heard on his debut record. 1998/9 released a second Unruly Child album with Gowdy and Kelly Hansen on vocals. In 1999, I played on Billy Sherwood's debut solo album The Big Peace, while the next year I recorded for Sherwood's project with Yes bassist Chris Squire, Conspiracy. In 2002 Conspiracy released "The Unknown" on Inside-Out Records to a great reception. In 2003, Conspiracy got together and recorded a live-DVD in 2004, released in 2006. Billy and I are always in touch and working on a number of other projects. Meanwhile, Billy and I worked on demos for Asia's 2004 album Silent Nation with Geoff Downes (another former Yes keyboardist), John Payne, vocals (ELO,Rodger Daltry)and Guthrie Govan guitarist. In August 2005, Geoff and John asked me to join ASIA replacing (fantastic drummer and very good bloke)Chris Slade as drummer in Asia. In February 2006, Downes left the group to re-form the original ASIA: So in good spirits I and the other two Asia band members (John Payne, Guthrie Govan) formed a new band, GPS with Ryo Okimudo. We released our debut record "Window To The Soul" have been touring Europe, Japan and the good ol USA. John Payne has kept his era of ASIA alive recording new albums and performing worldwide as "ASIA 'featuring John Payne" the lineup including Guthrie Govan, Erik Norlander and myself.--- Recently I've joined my old buddies Billy Sherwood and Tony Kaye in their groundbreaking progressive group CIRCA: We are working on a new release with tour dates TBA soon!---Oh yeah--I have to mention this or my publisher would have my neck---In 1997, I wrote and published my drum method book "Rocking Independence".
