Sleep Walker est l'un des groupes fondateurs du mouvement club jazz au Japon. Il bénéficie d'une reconnaissance de la profession avec une Victoire en 2006 aux "Adlib Music Awards" ainsi que du public avec plus de 15000 albums vendus par référence. Sleep Walker est composé de Masato Nakamura au saxophone, Hajime Yoshizawa au piano, Kiyoshi Ikeda à la basse et Nobuaki Fujii à la batterie. Le nouvel album "Into The Sun" regroupe des morceaux issus de deux disques : "Works" et "The Voyage" auxquels ont été ajoutés deux titres inédits : Brotherhood & Resurrection (Tokyo Night Mix) enregistrées et produits par Jazzamar et Shuya Okino à Tokyo en octobre 2007.
Brotherhood et Resurrection sont présents uniquement sur cette édition européenne.
Sleep Walker a déjà son actif un certain nombre d'albums, de maxis et singles : leur premier album est sorti en 2002 "Sleep Walker" ; cet album a reçu les éloges de Jazzanova et Laurent Garnier et toucha un large public. 2004 sortie d'un single "The Voyage" sur le label Village Again avec en invité Pharoah Sanders. 2005 sortie d'un autre single "River of Love", suivi d'une compilation "Essence of Especial".
C'est en 2006 que sort le deuxième album de Sleep Walker "The Voyage from village again" enregistré au festival Metamorphose avec la présence d'un invité de marque Pharoah Sanders. Cet album a remporté la Victoire de : Domestic Club/Jazz album of the Year aux "Adlib Music Awards". Eté 2007 sortie de l'album "Works" composé de titres passés, de morceaux remixés et de nouveaux enregistrements.
