The Jerusalem Hug shows the world that we can come together, in shared respect and love for the Holy City of Jerusalem, to shift human consciousness from separation to unity. We can only do it TOGETHER...
(The Jerusalem Hug is an initiative originally created by Israeli visionary Dvora PEARLMAN, which has since grown to encompass the Lovers of Jerusalem, the Jerusalem Hug Foundation, and the Jerusalem Peacemakers. In May 2007, more than 2,000 Palestinians, Israelis, peace activists and compassionate beings from around the world circled the Old City of Jerusalem (or Al-Quds). They formed dialogue circles, attempted to completely encircle the Old City, shared prayers, and manifested a massive drum circle. All of this was repeated in June 2008, when more than 2,000 participants manifested the second Hug. our collaboration with 5 MILLION PEACE MARCH (5MPM) also began that year, so simultaneous parallel events occurred in Los Angeles, London, København, and Washington state.)
