Over the past few years his name has been popping up on numerous different release credits with a score of top artists. This encouraged Josh not to tie himself down genre-wise and through this he ensured that his productions stayed cutting edge and in big demand. .. Growing up in a musically orientated family, Josh’s academic career led him to a degree in audio engineering and this then enabled him to take his first steps as a producer in the late nineties. After trying out a number of different styles, his long-time friend Timo Becker laid the foundation for his musical future by introducing him to his present mentor and friend ..Andre Tanneberger alias ATB... Their first combined productions found their way onto ATB’s 2002 highly proclaimed “Dedicated” album and opened the door for further productions that went on to have a huge impact on ATB’s next four albums, creating a musical symbiosis that is still intact today. After the huge success with his productions for ATB, Josh accompanied Andre to bookings and live gigs all over the world which helped him to expand his musical horizon even further. .. Josh then went on to produce and remix such talents as: ..Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Talla2XLC and Kurd Maverick... These productions not only gave Josh the chance to make a name for himself, but also for his musical vision and at the beginning of 2008 his talent reached the crew from the label ..“A State of Trance”.. and it’s owner ..Armin van Buuren... Während seine Credits in den letzten Jahren etliche wichtige Releases zierten, hat sich Josh Gallahan stilistisch nie festlegen wollen. Aus einer musikalischen Familie kommend, legte er mit seinem Studium zum Dipl. Audio Producer und den ersten Gehversuchen in verschiedenen musikalischen Styles Ende der 90er Jahre gemeinsam mit seinem langjährigen Freund Timo Becker früh den Grundstein für seine musikalische Zukunft. Since 2008 the stage name Josh Gallahan alias Rudi Dittmann has been heard all over the planet.

From his hometown Bochum where the studied audio producer made his first steps towards his musical career in the late 90s, he has been tipped as "hottest producer 2011" by ATB in the DJ Mag magazine and entered top 30 of "The DJ List".

Being very well known for his variety of productions and remixes for artists like Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Talla2XLC and Kurd Maverick, 2002 he started a still lasting working relationship with no other than ATB. This not only influenced the last five ATB albums, but also allowed Josh to explore and broaden his horizon, both personally and musically. This relationship also wakes up his passion for DJing and gives him the possibility to travel all around the globe with ATB on his tours and booking.

“I still love to work as producer in the background, but to be on stage is the greatest feeling. I'm simply addicted to feel the energy of the crowd.”

2008 he finally released his long anticipated solo single “1st strike” on the well known label “A State of Trance”, and got massive support by guys like Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz, Paul Oakenfold to name a few.

After his successful first single Josh’s next stroke of genius was „Shades of love“, featuring the vocals of none other than the internationally well know singer Jennifer Karr.

In 2010 Josh Gallahan once again showed his compassion for electronic dance music by working on many songs as a producer and contributing songs as songwriter for ATBs top 10 album “Future Memories”. One of the most popular tracks of the album is ATB pres. Josh Gallahan „Luminescence“.

2011 started furiously with his single "Sunday Afternoon" and the next ATB Top 10 album "Distant Earth" including tracks like ATB & Josh Gallahan "Chapter One". Under his synonym Anova, Josh also released on the second CD of Distant Earth his ambient track “Sternenwanderer”, which shows with emotional melodies his more quite side and proved his enormous musical portfolio as producer.

Another highlights of 2011 are definitely his remixes for Axwell’s worldwide clubhit “Heart is King” as well as for ATB’s “Killing me inside”. Two fantastic tracks which accompanied him beneath other on gigs at Club Premier, Mexico; Kiss FM Birthday, Ukraine; ATB in Concert, Poland; Ton aus Strom, Germany; Electrocity, Poland; Club Kremlin, Romania; or in first half of 2011.

2011 was great so far, but this was just the beginning.

Seit 2008 ist der Name Josh Gallahan alias Rudi Dittmann auf allen Bühnen dieser Welt bekannt.

Von seiner Heimatstadt Bochum aus, in der er Tontechnik studierte, machte er in den späten 90igern die ersten Schritte seiner musikalischen Kariere. Von ATB im DJ Mag als „Hottest Producer 2011“ genannt, hat er längst die Top 30 der „The DJ List“ erobert.

Weltweit bekannt für seine unzähligen Produktionen und Remixe für Künstler wie Andy Moor, Markus Schulz, Alex M.O.R.P.H., Talla 2XLC und Kurd Maverick, startete 2002 eine bis heute anhaltende, enge Zusammenarbeit mit niemand geringerem als ATB. Diese beeinflusste nicht nur die letzen fünf ATB Alben entscheidend, sondern gab Josh auch die Möglichkeit, seinen musikalischen, wie persönlichen Horizont zu erweitern. Diese Zusammenarbeit erweckte zudem seine Leidenschaft für das DJing und gibt ihm die Möglichkeit, mit ATB auf seinen Touren und Bookings rund um die Welt zu reisen.

„Ich liebe immer noch meine Arbeit im Hintergrund als Produzent, aber auf den Bühnen dieser Welt zu stehen und zu spielen, ist einfach das Größte. Ich brauche es einfach, die Energie der Menge zu spüren.“

2008 erschien seine lang erwartete erste Single „1st Strike“ auf dem für besten Trance bekannten Label „A State of Trance“. Der Track verdiente sich in kürzester Zeit massive Unterstützung von Künstlern wie Armin van Buuren, Markus Schulz oder Paul Oakenfold, um nur ein paar zu nennen.

Nach seiner ersten, erfolgreichen Single, lieferte Josh mit „Shades of Love“, welche die Vocals der internationalen Sängerin Jennifer Karr beinhaltet, seinen nächsten Geniestreich.
