Juan BassHead

Miami's own Juan BassHead is best described as a modern-day musical renaissance man.

Born and raised in "The City of Bass", Juan has taken on nearly every aspect of the music industry, playing the role of performer, label owner, promoter, venue owner, and music aficionado. He continually pushes the limits in his dj sets which offer electric mix of progressive and classic styles ranging from (but not limited to) Dubstep, Miami Bass, Drum & Bass, Hip Hop, Salsa, Merengue, House, Freestyle, Electro... In his own words: "nothing is off limits as long as it rocks the party".

His dedication to pushing an innovative and integrated approach to EDM has granted him local notoriety as the ambassador of an unclassifiable sound otherwise known as 'party bass'. His ability to adapt and musically morph has landed him countless bookings close to home and across the US; with international gigs from Puerto Rico to Peru. He is one of only a handful of American djs to have played at the legendary DMZ night in London.

His label BASSHEAD MUSIC is a collaboration with business partner and veteran dj A-sides, which in just over a year has already received many accolades, including 2 #1 hits. When he's not scouting for new music you can catch him at his resident gigs at GET LOW, Miami's premier Bass music monthly and Overthrow's ARCADE Saturdays where on a weekly basis he shares the stage with many of the biggest names in the industry.
