Kaino aka Niko Ryhanen has been in the past working on his Aphilas project and released a 12 inch of mellow and soulful downtempo gems on the US label Merck.
Now his solo project Kaino is a step forward, also to the more discerning sound as well as nuggets for the dancefloor. When it comes to production, Kaino is familiar with the instruments as well as the sampler. The songs on his latest 12 inch ep are infused with a beautiful melancholy feel, but include also that tounge-in-cheek danceloor funking, featuring a variety of slick soul, jazz & latin samples.

I had two pretty decent tracks finally done using Ableton, ProTools, Reason, and all using Trigger Finger. Played them via Shoutcast to a few friends and soon after, my RAID crashed and I lost *everything*.
I just picked up Allen & Heath's Xone:3D, so once I unpack the tables and setup a box again, I'll be back at it.
Listening to you tracks again truly inspires me and the creativity you have is just insane. If only you were a *tad* bit closer, I'd ask to come see how ya work and play but I guess that'll have to be another day.
