Straight off the success of "Greats Of The 88's"-a night that highlighted the music of Rock's greatest pianist/singers-comes another night of a kazeedigs gone wild....On Thursday,May 8th (7:30) kazeedigs continues the series of performances by presenting an Old School Soul party. We're calling it... kazeedigs Soulsville, NYC: Stax Rides The Subway. Once again, we're gonna raise the roof at NYC's The Cutting Room (19 West 24th St.), this time with a big ol' greasy plate of Memphis Soul.......
Digging mostly out of the Classic Stax Soul catalogue, the music of Booker T. & The MGs, Sam & Dave, Otis Redding, Wilson Pickett, and quite a few other Soul Faves of ours will be flaming off the stage by a band well fed from a lifetime of Soul Stew.........

What can I say........I'm totally speechless!! Last night's show was killin'. Everybody was on top of their game. Nice touch calling up the incredible Vaneese Thomas to sing a classic as well. It was a total Soul revue........took us back to the 60's - 70's. Talk soon bro.
