I'm Kevin J Anderson, a hardworking, prolific, bestselling author. I love writing. I also keep a Dune-related blog on dunenovels.com. For more about me, see www.wordfire.com and www.dunenovels.com.
I write my own original work and often collaborate with other authors, such as Brian Herbert, Rebecca Moesta (my wife), Dean Koontz, Greg Benford, and Doug Beason, to name a few.
I've also written novels and/or comics for Dune, Star Wars, X-Files, JSA, Titan A.E., StarCraft, Star Trek, and many others.
FOR ASPIRING WRITERS: I am inundated with new writers sending me their novel manuscripts and requesting critiques, or writers asking for a "blurb" quote for their book. Much as I would like to help out, I simply don't have the time to read them. Check out my blog entries, and you'll see many of my other obligations and deadlines.
It's nothing personal. Please don't ask me to read a manuscript or offer comments. I have to focus on my own writing or, in a spare moment or two, SLEEP.
People who like to read my books and any potential readers out there! Check out my books at your public library or buy them at a local bookstore. Share them with your friends (no, not by posting my books online -- let them borrow a copy. It's a great way to get them hooked!). I'd love to see you at one of my signings.
Note: If you send me an email here on MySpace, I probably won't be able to answer. If I did, I'd have a hard time meeting all my novel deadlines. Even so I'll try to address questions that come up frequently.
