'I first met Kill You in the Face in 1993 at the Wembley Arena in London during their first world tour. Overcoming the death of hair metal and faced with the onslaught of grunge's angsty and very plaid presence, the dashing, ultra-hip Kill You in the Face trio took my proverbial breath away at first sight. It was only after REO Speedwagon's "Dream Weaver" stopped playing in my head that I was able to hear the band, and put the delicate chords to the Godlike figures on stage as they gracefully toiled away at strings and skins under the purple glow of stage lights.
