Miss Kitten on the Keys started out as a Christmas Angel in the Church Pageant at 3 years old, got kicked out of tap and hula for being a spazz and wearing corrective shoes on the wrong feet, played in high school cover bands, recorded with the psychedelic girlie White Stains at SF State, became disillusioned and addled while playing with Sugar Baby Doll in 1985 w/ Courtney Love, Kat Bjelland, and Jennifer Finch.. PLayed in Senior Citizen's homes in vintage get ups and found her bippy boppy Tin Pan Alley sound trying to keep the old folks awake!
She joined forces with San Francisco's Premiere Burlesque Troupe, The Cantankerous Lollies and SF's Famous Burlesque Orchestra in the late 1990's and started touring as Kitten On the Keys solo a wee bit later.
Kitten on the Keys is the name of a 1922 RAGTIME Novelty song.
She played with Devotchka on Burlesquefest Tour of Canada and the USA starring Catherine D'Lish. Her comedic timing won her awards from The SF Weekly and The New York Burlesque Festival and MORE! She won Best Costume at the Miss Exotic World Pageant 2005.( thanks Monique Motil and my Glue Gun!)
She's been to France 4 times performing with the fabulous show, Cabaret New Burlesque!
All this lil pony girl wants to do is sing, tinkle the ivories, stroke her uke, squeeze her accordion , make costumes and travel!

She has performed with hilarious novelty musician Dr Elmo of Grandma Got Ran Over By A Reindeer fame.....hey that song has been 1 in the X-mas charts over White Christmas for YEARS!
Her current work includes a tragic biographical one woman show about her failed crack whore life called "Does This Piano Make My Ass Look Big?"

She also has visited the UK on several occasions visiting The Candy Box Burlesque in Birmingham and Touring with the legandary punk band the DAMNED for the TWISTED Cabaret if the Damned with pals Missy Malone and Mi Mi le Meaux.
