KRUCIBLE, based out of Houston and the Twin Cities, is a project founded from the talents of long-time bandmates, guitarist Eric Halpern (ex-Leatherwolf/Helstar/Z-Lot-Z), bassist/vocalist Shane DuBose (ex-Cea Serin/Outworld/Stride/Z-Lot-Z), keyboardist/vocalist Adam Rawlings (Victim, ex-Tyton/Z-Lot-Z), and guitarist Don LaFon (Six Minute Century, ex-Mystic Cross). Having gone through numerous periods of styles and members, they have finally found their niche in a more enriched scene with a power/progressive sound. Krucible, recently recruited former Pyramaze/Balance of Power, and current Avian/Shining Star vocalist, and owner of Nightmare Records Lance King. Lance's experience, soaring vocals and melodies are the perfect compliment to Krucible's ever maturing mixture of progressive and power metal. The band, (who also performs as a Queensryche tribute side project called Mindcrime with Zero Hour vocalist Chris Salinas), looks to break into the scene with many years of live and recording experience and a positive outlook and drive. In past years, the members of the band have performed at numerous U.S. and European festivals, and have played alongside a mass of internationally recognized bands/artists over the years. KRUCIBLE is focusing now on developing material for a debut release, estimated for sometime in late-2008/early 2009. This new material will be what the band is performing for their slotted show at this year's Rocklahoma. The band also performed some high profile shows in 2007 including TEXAS MADFEST and PROG-POWER USA. "We are looking forward to solidifying the songs in a live environment, the true test of metal", says vocalist Lance King.

£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
