About North Bay Underground : Sundays at 7PM on the Fox
Welcome to the Northbay Underground MySpace page. NBU is a one hour program that airs every Sunday night at 7PM on FM 101.7 The FOX. Dedicated to local, regional, unsigned, and independent music.
If you want to hear your favorite local bands on the radio, this is the place to do it. Drop me a message, comment, or call me on Sunday between 7 and 8PM at 707-636-1FOX, and let me know what local band you want to hear.
If you missed a program, or if you just can't remember the name of one of the bands I played, you can check out the playlist in the blog section to see who was played. Playlists are usually up within 15 min. of the show ending at 8PM.
Also check out the calendar, or the fliers in my top friends, for up coming shows.
For Bands:
If your in a band, and want to get your music to me for review to be on the air, send your press kit to:
KXFX - 101.7 The Fox
C/o Chris - North Bay Underground
1410 Neotomas Avenue, Ste. 200
Santa Rosa, CA 95405
PLEASE insure your tracks are edited. I don't mess around with editing, and can't play a track with swearing.
To get in my top friends, you need to have a current flier of an up coming show you will be playing as your profile picture. Let me know if you do, and I will get you up there. Also let me know about your shows so I can put them in the calendar

That competition was fierce but fun! I think everyone got some excellent promotion and extra airplay out of it, so thank you so much for putting it on. And congrats to Simoom, that was quite a feat. -DTM.
Ever carve the intials of "the one" into your skin and it never heals 'cause you keep scratching? Ever fill an ashtray and leave a line of empty glasses at the bar 'cause you can't get "the one" out of your mind?
Yeah - in one way or another we all have. Hard to deal with it sometimes, kind of like saying "cheer up" to a manic depressive. Try it sometime...the results can be amusing.
So if you've been down that garden path, come listen to a new song we've posted about these sweetest addictions.
Thank you so much for all the support so far, and for adding us to your myspace playlist. We'll be sure to get you a pair of our Devour Them Asses booty shorts when they're ready. -DTM
