Over the past four years, Laite has been evolving from a three-piece grunge/rock band into something a bit more sophisticated and well rounded with roots stemming from the fields of jazz, blues, folks... classical. Currently residing in an old farmhouse on the outskirts of St. Louis, Laite is birthing a unique breed of music and presenting it throughout St. Louis and it’s surrounding areas. Each member’s diversity combines to create a fresh sound that breaks through the standards of modern rock classification.
Laite has recently focused on pushing its songwriting into new territories by transcending standard song structure, focusing on harmonies, and embracing the developments of new instrument technology. Laite keeps to their organic rock roots, too, while adopting the use of drum machines, synthesizers, and loops in order to expand the possibilities of their music. in case you havent heard,some one hacked into my youtube account & deleted all of my videos,almost 800 of them,so if you were using a youtube code for your video on your page then it wont play anymore,i am working around the clock trying to restore all your videos but it takes an hour for each one & its ALOT of videos,so as soon as they are done i will send them to your comments so you can repost them,but plz dont delete them from your page until i send you the new ones that way i can see who needs to replace their videos & try to get those done first,ok?

charlack pub needs at least 2 more bands for this wednsday april 30th,or he will have to cancel the show...this will be his second in a row that he has to cancel & if this happens,then original music wednsdays are over
if youre a local music fan these are free shows that you can come to every other wednsday & see 3 or 4 bands for free so theres no reason not to get out & see some live music
if youre a band,then this is a win win for you because you get a PAYING gig in the middle of the week where there isnt alot of other competing shows,at a new place youve probably never played before so you have the potential to make new fans,this venue /promoter buys local bands cds,tells the crowd to buy them as well & they play them over the speaker system in the bar for the regular patrons & this bar may be small but it does get packed up with probably a hundred people & on a wednsday night thats a hell of a crowd also for playing the charlack pub you get special deals on videos...you can either get one or two songs free(they pay me so you dont have to)or you can get a half hour set for only $10 & they will use your video to promote you so you get free promotion as well you cant beat it!!!
