The Lost Photos of LaPorte, Indiana's Blurbs
About me:
"FOUND Magazine co-creator Jason Bitner has made it a habit of picking up after us, walking down the back alleys of our lives, and accumulating all that we've thrown away or mislaid. One afternoon not long ago, after lunch at a small Midwestern diner, he stumbled onto a forgotten archive. In the back of the restaurant were box upon box of studio portraits of the townspeople of LaPorte, Indiana—over 18,000 in total. So he made a book about it."

Check LaPorteBook.com, where you can find out more about the book, learn something about the city and it's people, learn more about the photographer Frank Pease, and get a sneak peak at some of the book's photos. Princeton Architectural Press, our wonderful publisher, also has a little website where you can learn more.

And if THAT doesn't sell you, check this:
"These are real people. The grace and dignity one sees in their faces should be a source of hope for us all."
—John Mellencamp

Need we say more?! GO MIDWEST!!!

And, to grab a copy of book now, check out "Laporte, Indiana" at Amazon.com (and for huge bonus points, spend a sec writing an awesome review, wouldja?)
