Lautmusik's second EP, A Week of Mondays, is now available for streaming and download.
The 4-track EP was recorded independently in Porto Alegre in July, 2008, and produced by Lautmusik and Eduardo Suwa; cover art by drummer Rodrigo Prati.
LAUTMUSIK (“loud music”, in German) was formed in the Fall of 2006 in Porto Alegre, Brazil. Mainly influenced by 80s post-punk and 90s guitar rock and shoegaze, its music does not fit, however, into either of these categories, as it ambitions solely to reflect band members’ diverse musical taste and life experiences. Autoproduced debut 6-track EP, Black Clouds with Silver Linings, was recorded independently in Porto Alegre and released in December, 2007.
LAUTMUSIK ("música alta", em alemão) é uma banda formada no outono de 2006 em Porto Alegre, Brasil. Influenciada principalmente pelo pós-punk dos 80 e pelo guitar rock e shoegaze dos 90, sua música não se enquadra, porém, em nenhuma dessas categorias, já que pretende apenas refletir o gosto musical diversificado e as experiências de vida de seus integrantes.
