About Leaving Araby (Booking for Fall 2009)

Leaving Araby is changing things. This is a band driven by something more than a desire for fame or money. This is a band that strives to make their music about more than just market research or trend hopping. This is a band that strives to connect to the people who connect to their music. This is a band fed up with the old model of music as a business or a way to use people. This is a band made up of people just like you with the same thoughts, desires and imperfections that you have.

Leaving Araby has been very candid about their purpose and drive, frontman Justin Reynolds describes the band as “not only a musical vehicle for what we’re living and laughing and crying and struggling through, but also a means to connect with other people on a very real, very deep level and change people’s perceptions of what it is to be a band. Yes this is what we’re doing for a living but we’d rather develop something meaningful than try and sell you a product.
