Neil and Dashan started Hugga Broomstik on January 7th 2001. The original name that they went by was, "Toenail Fungus Clippings Up Your A$$ho1e Bi+ch" and the first song they came up with was "You Ask For Peanuts, You Get Popcorn, Bi+ch" which feature Benny Hadley singing through the telephone. Hugga Broomstik has gone through a lot of changes through the past couple of years, but one thing that will never change is their love for the rock. Not Rock & Roll, but crack rock. So far, Hugga Broomstik has been content playing shows in and around NYC, but they dream of making it all the way to Nashville.
September 1:st our 1:st single, Dare To Lick (Hunter's Red Sleeve), from our upcoming album SILENT REVOLUTION, is released and available on iTunes, Spotify and whatnot!
The album will be released October 1:st and later that month we go on tour in Germany with The Movements.

CURLY HAIR is Jessica and Benjamin. We met whilst making music in another band with four friends. We still play in 'the other band' but we're not allowed to talk about it in front of Curly because she gets jealous(they're in our top friends though...sshhh!).Curly Hair was born when Jessica bought a guitar called Tiny from a second-hand shop in the Lanes in Brighton and I taught her how to play in 12 hours.
