Len Arran is a Songwriter/Producer/Film Music Composer living in Dublin, Ireland.
In the late 90’s Len co-wrote 8 top 40 Singles, with Skin and Skunk Anansie, including Hedonism (Just Because You Feel Good), Twisted, and Brazen(Weep), on 3 Gold/Platinum Albums; 'Paranoid and Sunburnt' (1995), ‘Stoosh’ (1997) and ‘Post Orgasmic Chill’ (1999).
The huge European hit ‘Secretly’ was used in the film ‘Cruel Intentions’ (1999), along with tracks for ‘Strangedays’ (1995), Mission Impossible (1998), The Avengers (1998) and other television credits in Europe and America.
In 2004 he wrote songs for Skin's first Solo Album, 'Fleshwounds' followed by 'Fake Chemical State' in March 2006.
Len has composed music for computer games including the Sony Entertainment PC game,
‘Tellurian Defence’ and scored music for the highly commended 'Simon Community' TV Spots.
Irish Films include the award winning ‘A Dublin Story’ (2003), and 'Past Pupil' (2005) directed by Graham Cantwell, ‘Push Hands’ (2004) and the Academy Award ® 2009 nominated "New Boy" (2007) directed by Steph Green.
Len has scored tracks for "L'Empire des Loups (2005), the feature from French director, Chris Nahon and for the British romantic comedy "The Truth About Love" (2006). He is due to score Audrey O Reilly's feature romantic comedy, "It Takes Three to Tango".
Television work includes music for the acclaimed Paul Davey documentary "Breaking Boundaries" and a score for the pilot "The Coalboat Kids".
In addition, Len has recently produced a 4 Track EP for the Dublin Singer/Songwriter Nigel Place and an album with the young Irish singer Labhaoise Brennan featuring viola player Maria Angeles Alcala.
Currently working with the fabulous young Welsh singer/songwriter Kadesha Affrica Drija on songs for Kadesha's debut album. Kadesha is a remarkable talent from Pontypridd, South Wales whose charm is as infectious as her wonderful voice, and for whom 2009 promises to be an amazing year.
