Lightsource is a concept ive had in my head since my childhood.
Music was always my direction and at school and as a youngster i could focus on little else,always willing the week away till music lesson came and wanting it to last forever when it did.
My first encounter with music was at the age of 3 when i had a desire to play the drums,my parents bought me a drumkit at the age of 5 and from then on there was no stopping me as the need for music in my life was made clear,playing along to old propaganda,and phil collins tracks i was alive and i was smiling in an uncontrolable fashion,i had found something that i loved at such a young age and the obsession has gone from strength to strength,i was always made an example of in music lessons and was always first choice to perform in school fates and caberets and other schools even asked to borrow me for there shows,this was always with the purpose of being a percussionist but as much as i loved playing drums i always had a desire to write my own music,to have something that i could create as a way of xpression (and just coz its one of the best feelings in the world)
This came to light when i was 16,i worked hard and earnt enough money to buy my first synth,it was a yamaha cm1x,at this stage i had no recording equiptment so i just spent hours gathering ideas and playing for my own enjoyment with nothing recorded at the end of each session,this seemed frustrating at the time but now i think i have those times to thank when i relive some of those melodys and now i am fortunate enough to have the means to capture these moments and share them with everyone,its a dream come true.
I always wanted my music to be a symbol of xpression and individuality and 2 years ago lightsource was born,a long time in the making and with alot of life xperience in tow,this is what has always mattered and this is now my voice,and i hope i can touch you with a little magic.

Obviously I love your music, so emotionnal and inspiring. Seems like we have a similar approach to music, as far as trying to capture the deepest emotions of this world, and turn them into beautifull, dream-like musical shapes. And your synths are so deep... really like it

Thanks for the encouraging words Simon. It took a long time for me to get back to you. Was traveling in Israel for a month and finally am settled in Brooklyn. "Day Dreams" is epic, beautiful, and full of life. Can definitely see this in a movie like "The Fountain" during an uplifting part. That electronic effect at 1:42 just made me smile.
