YAY i'm so excited for the new tunes! I just listened to it on your page and then i heard Mountains next and let me just say i love your song writing! The lyrics are phenomenal :-). Btw, i just saw that Sanctus Real is opening up the new school year at SAU and the very first thing i thought of was that Like Jonathon might share the stage with them again!!! I later saw the show details and was saddened that i didn't see your name -- I sure would enjoy seeing you guys again. Hope all is going great for you and i'm looking forward to more music :-D
Thanks a lot Jeff. That means a lot coming from you. We do have a vocoder, but we found that we can get a similar effect if we autotune our voice to 100%. It's not polyphonic that way but it still tends to sound sweet. Then, since all mics have headphones in them and all headphones have Mics in them, we figured it would be good to sing into a pair of headphones because the padding would help to absorb the voice and background noise wouldn't get all autotuned with it. We have a lot more of that kind of effect on our next CD. We even threw a little bit of it on your brother's voice on the song we did with him.
