Don-e:.. .... In recent years Brixton based artist, writer & producer Don-e has been focusing primarily on writing and producing for other artists inc. Shaun Escoffery, Mica Paris, Beverley Knight, Lynden David Hall, Omar, Grace Jones, Avani and Rahsaan Patterson. On his recent album " Try This" Don-e took the opportunity to introduce a talented new Birmingham-based singer Lornette Ford on the first single Slow; his good friend Omar is guest vocalist on the explosive No Reason; and UK rapper Grimm has a cameo on All We Need. .. The hidden bonus album track "UK Black" paid homage to the many UK artists who have made their mark from the Seventies (back when urban was black) to the present day, as well as urging continued support for home grown talent, perfect material for UK Soul Jam... Don-e has recently returned from a US tour guesting with Omar, and has also played a number of live dates with Grace Jones.
