History
Local Flavors debuted on Rogers State University Radio Station KRSC 91.3FM in 2002. Original host, Charlie 7, left the show in 2005. Ryan Embry hosted the show from 2005-2006 calling it the Oklashow. In June 2006, RSU Radio asked Tulsa Radio Personality/Promoter, Davit Souders, to host and program the show that summer. Souders returned the show to its original name, Local Flavors. Souders was the voice for the local music show Home Groan for 8 years (1996-2004) on Tulsa's Z-104.5 The Edge. According to Charlie 7, Home Groan as hosted by Davit, was the original inspiration for Local Flavors.
By summer's end 2006, RSU Radio management named Souders full time host and 2009 marks his third year presenting Local Flavors to a worldwide audience.
Souders also provides the voice and programming for This 70's Show on RSU Radio Sundays 1p-3p. That show features Top Forty 70's Rock, One Hit Wonderful Music, Camaro rock, Funk, and 70's cowbell classics.
In addition, Souders programs and hosts the broadcast/podcast Hometown Heroes featuring Tulsa Area Music at www.hometownheroestulsa.com . You can subscribe to that podcast for free through iTunes.
Local Flavors, This 70's Show and Hometown Heroes are Diabolicasts produced for Diabolical Productions LLC.
