Lodge Doom is the new project of Thomas von Wachenfeldt, guitarist in De Tveksamma and Eric Hellman, guitar player in Sunset Sinners, My Observer and former member of the vicious ensemble De Tveksamma.
Lodge Doom is erected out of the mud of traditional music and strict counterpoint. It’s core is an acoustic instrumentation, raw nature with harmonies of dunkelheit.
Lodge Doom explores the sonic possibilities with layers of crazed violins, guitars and chanting vocals. The tunes flirt wildly with the classical legacy, psychedelic rock and the Hammer Horror of the sixties.
Lodge Doom is a friendly voice in the desert, the opium dreams of the madhouse, the crossroads of the gutter and carnival desires in dark alleyways.
