Jackie Hibbard grew up playing guitar at age 13. Influenced heavily from blues greats, B.B. King, Albert King, and Freddie King. Later in life he was turned on to Eddie Hazel (Funkadelic) and Sly Stone. He began writing songs and singing at an early age. “I always liked to write my own stuff, even when I was young, it just felt like complete satisfaction to write the words and the music.” Today his influences range from hip/hop to gospel. “I feel like most music genres have an important element in which to draw from. I try to incorporate that in all my songs.” He is a guitar player, songwriter, singer and a shade tree drummer and bass player.
