This alternative indie rock group passionately deliver spaced, atmospheric and post-rocked vibes alongside vast energetic waves of dream-scraped lyrics and vocal melodies. Quite simply… awesome! Smoky Carrot Sessions Chevron is a significant development for the song writing of Lostaura. This song crashes around forcefully, but without ever losing control and also maintains their seasoned recipe of subtle, weaving guitars that ebb them slightly away from the mainstream enough to be taken as seriously as they so desire. ‘Uwer’ delights with its Jonny Marr educated jingles and jangles and obscure rumbling bass lines reminding us that Lostaura are more than just power chords and hooks, but unfortunately this sometimes gets lost in the mayhem and confusion of it’s chorus. About Lostaura

Lostaura are a Brighton based Indie Rock quintet.
They capture a powerful atmospheric wall of sound. Dave McCormack (Vocals/keyboards), Craig Montgomery (guitar) and Lewis Adams (guitar/vocals) originally met at school and have been writing together ever since. After various line-ups, the band finally met David Jackson-Mayo (Drums/vocals) and Kevin Anderson (Bass) through mutual friends.
With a new line up they wanted to start afresh.
Lostaura are enjoying more and more success due to their tight energetic sets. Over the past year or so they have played at some top venues, performing around the UK particularly in the capital.
In May 2009 the band returned to The Animal Farm, London, who have worked with the likes of One Night Only and Jack McManus. The band plans to tour extensively in the upcoming months and build on their ever-growing fan base.
