LUIS ZERILLO es todo un referente de la escena de su La Plata natal,
por la cual viene trabajando desde 1998
cuando incursionaba en el trip hop
y breakbeat de sellos como Compost
y en la que un par de años mas tarde
deja una huella indeleble: La Boutique.
Este lugar devino en icono
de la cultura electronica nocturna platense
albergando durante varios años
algo mas de 1000 personas todos los viernes y sabados
en una ciudad
que se despertaba a un sonido novedoso
hasta para los porteños mas salidores.
De la mano de los breaks y La Boutique,
Luis logro establecer
una marca registrada y de a poco atrajo la atencion
de artistas de perfiles variados pero muy respetados
que por un lado aportaron diversidad
y calidad a su proyecto de club como
Carla Tintore, Club Rayo,
Hernan Cattaneo, Bad Boy Orange,
Javier Zuker, Diego Ro-K,
Carlos Alfonsin, y por otro
abrieron las puertas de la noche porteña
para que Zerillo toque en lugares como las fiestas HiFi,
el afterhours K-2 de la Urban Groove, Superclub, Clubland,
Creamfields (en sus ultimas 6 ediciones), Cocoliche o +160.
El 2008 lo encuentra residiendo varios dias a la semana
,desde hace ya mas de 5 años,
en las BreakingNights en De la Ostia de La Plata,
apuntando a un concepto mas intimista de la pista de baile,
pero no por eso menos groovero y agitador,
donde fusiona el house, tech, minimal y techno,
con sus amados breaks.
ademas de tocar por buenos aires en lugares como:
mint,club minimo,bahrein y mas160.

Luis Zerillo Es el procer del dance y la electronica platense. Entre 1998 y 1999 me llamaron la atencion
la electronica alemana,
el lounge, el breakbeat ingles,
el freestyle, el ragga,
y agarro un barcito donde empece a incursionar
en esos generos
que no son tan de pista.
La movida fuerte se produjo en el año 2000
en un sitio llamado La Boutique,
donde fui protagonista porque organizaba
ademas de ser DJ. Se acercaba al ruidismo, minimal,
IDM y breakbeat.
Estuvo muy vinculada a Bellas Artes.
Pero en 2001,
luego de que las marcas se asociaran a la imagen del DJ,
el underground fue decayendo aca. Si bien la electronica paso
a un formato de experimentacion de banda,
hoy no hay una escena dance de vanguardia en La Plata...
Sin embargo, su teson se mantiene incorruptible.
Docente y arengador, tras las bandejas
la sorpresa es otro de sus rasgos.
El breakbeat, el electro de la old school, el minimal techno,
el reggae y el raggamuffin es la artilleria de sus sets.
Bad Boy Orange me dijo que la primera vez que tuvo
800 personas bailando drum & bass en una pista fue aca.
Residente en La Plata de De la ostia
y el Complejo Millenium,
en Buenos Aires tiene una residencia mensual
en las fiestas +160.
Admirado por Diego Ro-K,
participo en la Creamfields 2003/04/05/06/07/2008.
Aunque recien encarar el rol de productor,
en 2001 lanzo su primer disco, Nuskool Breakz
para el sello clubrayo disquets.

LUIS ZERILLO is a referal of La PLata main scene where he was born,
and he's been working since 1998 , when he entered Trip Hop a
nd Breakbeat labels like compost and in a couple
yeares later leaves an invaluable footprint. La Boutique
this place leaded as an icon of "platense night scene"
handing about more than 1000 people every friday an saturday
in a city waking up a new and exciting sound for most of the clubbers.
By the hand of breaks and La boutique Luis managed to establish a registered trademark and little by little attracted the attention of a mixed variety of artists , well respected . All this artists offered quite a diversity
and quality to his own club proyect like Carla tintore, Club Rayo,
Hernan Cattaneo, Bad Boy Orange, Javier Zuker,
Diego Ro-K, Carlos Alfonsin, talking
on a different side they opened doors of all porteña
night and in this way Zerillo was able to play in recognized places
like Hifi parties, K-2 afterhours from Urban groove, Superclub, Clubland, Creamfields(in is 4 editions , Cocoliche o +160. 2007 finds him, being a resident various days a week, through more than 3 years in
BreakingNights in De La Ostia de la plata, pointing to an intimist
concept on the dance floor, but not being less groovy or agitating,
where he fusions house, tech minimal and techno ,
with his all loved breaks. Besides playing along
Buenos Aires in places like , mint, club minimo ,
bahrein and +160.

LUIS ZERILLO is a procer of platense dance and electronic music.
Between 1998 and 1999 german electronic called my attention,
lounge and english breakbeat, freestyle and reggae.
He got to a small bar where he started diving inside these genres
which are not so dance floor related. The big move produced
in year 2000 in a site called La Boutique, where I've
been a main figure, cause I organized aside from being DJ.
Noisy sounds, minimal ,IDM and breakbeat approached.
It was quite linked to Bellas Artes. Later in 2001 ,after these trademarks have been associated to the DJ image, the underground started
to fall over in place. It's well know that if electronic
came acrross to be a band experiment , today there's isn't a
vanguard dance scene in La plata. Aside from all this
his will keeps incorruptible.
Thrilling and expertise it's another surprise of his skills.
Breakbeat and electro from old school, minimal techno,
reggae, and raggamuffin are his main sets artillery.
Bad boy orange told me the the first time he's got 800 people
dancing drum & buss was in over here.
Resident in La PLata de la Ostia and Millneium complex,
In buenos aires he's got a monthly residence in parties +160.
Admired by Diego RO-K , he also was a figure in
creamfields 2003/04/05/06. Although he recently came through
the producer role in 2001 launched his first single ,
Nuskool Breakz for Clubrayo label.

Der Argentinier Luis Zerillo ist mittlerweile eine etablierte Größe unter den DJs in „La Plata“, wo 1998 seine DJ Karriere in einer kleinen Bar begann. Zu dieser Zeit wurde sein Interesse für die elektronische Tanzmusik geweckt und er entdeckte Trip-Hop und Breakbeat von Labels wie etwa „Compost“ für sich. So war es nicht verwunderlich, dass er seinem Publikum diese etwas untypischen Musikgenres präsentierte.
Luis Zerillo hinterließ seine Spuren und so entwickelte sich „La Plata“ zum Zentrum der elektronischen Tanzmusik Szene. Ausgehend von den Clubs „Los Breaks“ und „La Boutique“, schaffte es Luis sein Markenzeichen zu etablieren, sodass in kurzer Zeit Künstler mit unterschiedlichen musikalischen Profilen wie zum Beispiel Hernan Cattaneo oder Carlos Alfonsin, darauf aufmerksam wurden. Sie steuerten zum einen zur musikalischen Vielfalt und Qualität seines Clubprojektes bei.
Zum anderen öffneten sich durch den Kontakt mit diesen Künstlern
für Zerillo neue Möglichkeiten, so dass er nun auch in neuen Orten
wie etwa dem „Creamfields“ auflegen konnte. Seit mehr als drei Jahren
ist er nun Resident DJ im „De la Ostia de la Plata“ in den „Breaking Nights“, wo er die kleinen Tanzflächen, sowie die Nähe und Vertrautheit zu dem Publikum schätzt. Dennoch präsentierte er seine groovigen und energetischen Sets, die ein Mix aus House, Tech House,
Minimal und Techno sind, auch in Buenos Aires in großen Clubs
wie dem „Mint“, dem „Club Minimo“ sowie dem „Mas 160“.
Obwohl er erst vor kurzem in die Rolle des
Produzenten geschlüpft ist, releaste er schon 2001 seine
erste Platte
